Bute YFC's under-15s are climbing up the table after a second successive league win.

Bute YFC’s under-15s chalked up their second successive league win on Saturday with a 4-1 home victory over OLM United.

Having lost 4-2 to the same opponents in their first ever league game at the start of the season, the Bute boys, who have been improving every week since then, were keen to turn the tables and CJ McMillan’s 28th-minute goal gave the island side a 1-0 interval lead.

Playing for the first time on the 3G surface at Rothesay Joint Campus, Bute doubled thier lead through Andy McErlean before a rare goalkeeping mistake by Ryan Craig allowed OLM to pull one back.

McErlean showed great determination to put the hosts 3-1 up before Liam Graham added a spectacular fourth with a huge looping shot/cross from a full 50 yards to round off an excellent display by the youngsters.
