The two-handicapper, whose revenge victory over David Cameron on Sunday gave him his third final win in five years at Kingarth, is the reigning champion at Port Bannatyne where he has also had three successes.
Standaloft's 3 and 1 victory was a r
eversal of the outcome in last year's final, when Cameron enjoyed his first title win.
This time round the defending champion was never ahead in an evenly matched contest in which the highlight was an exchange of four birdies from the sixth hole which saw Standaloft emerge to be one up at the turn.
A costly bogey at the par four 13th left Cameron two adrift, and although he got one back at the 15th, a birdie at the next put the challenger in the comfort zone of dormie two - and a par was good enough for victory at the penultimate hole.
Standaloft, who was delighted to regain custody of the Gavin North Trophy, has now contested ten championship finals between the two clubs, with six successes.
In the semi-finals he defeated Richie More by 3 and 1 after a spirited performance by the 11-handicapper, while Cameron enjoyed a 3 and 2 success over Gordon Pettigrew.
John Stewart (22) was the other victor on finals day with a two-up win over Bobby Speirs (14) in the 'Wee Championship' handicap competition for the Cuthbertson Cup.
A low-scoring contest reached its climax at the 17th where a birdie three from Speirs failed to keep the tie alive as Stewart sealed victory in spectacular fashion with a net eagle.
