Waverley’s final sailing from Rothesay of 2013 this Sunday

If you haven’t managed a sail on the Waverley this summer, don’t despair - but don’t delay - as the last sailing from Rothesay of 2013 will be this Sunday!

Since Waverley last visited Rothesay she has been sailing on the South Coast of England and through London’s famous Tower Bridge, with over 120,000 passenger journeys taking place this year.

The last sailing of the year from Rothesay on Sunday, October 20, will see the steamer take passengers through the Kyles of Bute to Tighnabruiach.

Captain Andy O’Brian, Waverley’s Captain said: “This is the last chance to sail aboard your paddle steamer this year. The weekend is set to be very popular so be sure of your place by booking in advance.”

Waverley has excellent onboard facilities including a restaurant serving hot and cold snacks, two bars, heated lounges, steam engines and a souvenir shop.

Tickets are £17 for adults, children under 18 half fare and under 5s travel free.
