The Rothesay Pavilion Charity is looking for volunteers to help with the organisation and delivery of Rothesay Pavilion’s Closing Weekend Festival later this month.

The event, from September 25-27, will feature guided tours, a community drama performance, a concert with Orkestra Del Sol, a late-night disco and much more.

The Pavilion’s development manager, Stuart Thomas, said: “We need people to assist with a number of aspects of the weekend including front of house, guiding for our exhibition, stewarding, leading guided tours, capturing, scanning and archiving photographs, stories, memories and other records of the Pavilion; work on event production and technical roles and also in photographing, filming and recording the weekend’s events.

“Volunteers would generally need to be able to give a minimum four hours of their time and in return will receive all training required for their role as well as a complimentary ticket to any paid events on the day of their shift.

“Event production and technical roles will start the week of September 14.

“As far as possible we will try to match volunteers to their own area of interest when assigning roles.”

To volunteer or for more information please contact Stuart Thomas on volunteer@rothesaypavilion.co.uk or 07872 068174 by Friday, September 11.
