VIDEO: ‘This one’s for you, Jenny!’

There were smiles aplenty at this year’s Isle of Bute Jazz Festival, and none more so than at the annual brolly parade where happy memories of late parade marshall, Jenny Brown, were shared.

Jenny, who sadly passed away in November 2015, had led the parade through Rothesay on almost every occasion since the festival’s inception in 1987.

Paul Knowles and his partner Rosie lead the annual brolly parade in memory of his late mum, Jenny, who served as parade mashall for almost all of the festival's 29 years.

Fittingly, her son Paul and his partner Rosie headed up the Saturday morning parade and led everyone in a rendition of Jenny’s favourite song, ‘Bye Bye Blackbird’ which ended in cheers and applause.
