VIDEO: ‘It’s me or the SNP,’ says Bute MP

Bute’s Liberal Democrat MP has insisted that the forthcoming General Election in Argyll and Bute is a straight fight between his party and the SNP.

Alan Reid said pro-Union voters had to back his party in order to prevent the SNP winning the seat in the May 7 poll - and accused the Nationalists of trying to re-run last year’s referendum on independence.

“People who voted No, which obviously are the majority in Argyll and Bute, are clearly very angry that the SNP are keeping up the campaign,” he said.
