ScotRail strike off as agreement is reached

Trains across Scotland will operate as normal in the run-up to Christmas after ScotRail and the RMT union reached an agreement in their dispute over a sacked colleague.

The train operating company Tweeted: “We’re delighted to announce that the @RMTunion strike is off and the dispute is over. ScotRail trains will run as normal this Christmas!”

RMT members working for ScotRail had been due to stage two 24-hour strikes on December 22 and 24.
