P4/5 pupils at Rothesay Primary held an RNLI fund-raiser on October 23.

Pupils at Rothesay Primary School raised £540 for the RNLI at a sale in the school last Friday.

To prepare for the sale, they learned about the RNLI by going to the Tighnabruiach lifeboat station, meeting the volunteers and going on board the B-class rib, as well as practising their money skills and customer service techniques.

Anne Speirs from the RNLI’s Bute fund-raising branch helped the pupils prepare and counted the money afterwards, with contributions coming from all the children in the pre-5 and primary classes.

Thanks to all the community for their support!
