Motorcyclist killed in Argyll trunk road crash

A 67-year-old motorcyclist has died after a crash on the main trunk road linking Argyll with central Scotland.

According to a Police Scotland statement, the man was riding his motorcycle southbound when it appeared to lose control and leave the roadway.

Police and ambulance personnel attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
