CalMac confirms holiday weekend timetable for Rothesay

Caledonian MacBrayne has announced details of the September holiday weekend timetable on the Rothesay-Wemyss Bay route following successful trials of MV Isle of Arran at Rothesay on Thursday.

The timetable is as follows.

Friday, September 21:

Rothesay dep 06:25, 08:00, 09:30, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00, 16:45, 18:15 and last departure 19:45.

Wemyss Bay dep 07:15, 08:45, 10:15, 11:00, 12:00, 13:05, 14:05, 15:00, 16:00, 17:00, 17:30, 19:00 and last departure 20:45.

Saturday, September 22:

Rothesay dep 07:00, 08:45, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 15:00, 16:45, 18:15 and last departure 19:45.

Wemyss Bay dep 08:00, 09:25, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 16:00, 17:30, 19:00 and last departure 20:45.

Sunday, September 23:

Rothesay dep 08:00, 09:30, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:45, 18:15 and last departure 19:45.

Wemyss Bay dep 08:45, 10:15, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00, 17:30, 19:00 and last departure 20:45.

Monday, September 24:

Rothesay dep 06:25, 08:00, 09:30, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 14:30, 16:00, 17:30 and last departure 19:00.

Wemyss Bay dep 07:15, 08:45, 10:15, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 13:45, 15:15, 16:45, 18:15 and last departure 19:45.

The temporary timetable has been put in place due to a breakdown last weekend on one of the regular vessels, MV Bute.

The Isle of Arran, the company’s spare vessel, carried out trials at both the normal linkspan berth and the overnight lay-up berth at Rothesay pier on Thursday afternoon.

The timetable from Tuesday, September 25 onwards has still to be confirmed.
