Bute bus and ferry services change this Friday

Bute’s bus and ferry timetables will change this Friday, March 29 at the start of Caledonian MacBrayne’s 2013 summer season.

On CalMac’s Rothesay-Wemyss Bay ferry service, two small changes will take effect to improve connections with other forms of public transport at Wemyss Bay.

From Monday to Saturday, the 0800 sailing from Wemyss Bay will leave five minutes earlier, at 0755, and the 0845 sailing from Rothesay will also leave five minutes earlier at 0840.

The timetable of the corresponding bus services between Kilchattan Bay and Rothesay, operated by West Coast Motors, will also change to accommodate the altered ferry times.
