Talent winner Jai to play live on Bute

Britain’s Got Talent winner Jai McDowall is to play live on Bute this spring as part of his latest Scottish tour.

The singer, who won the fifth series of the ITV talent show in 2011, will perform at Rothesay Pavilion on Saturday, May 18.

His second studio album, described on his official website as having “a new fresher sound”, is due for release later this year. Tickets for his Rothesay show, part of a tour beginning in Glenrothes on March 8 and ending on May 25 in Ayr, near his birthplace of Tarbolton, are available from the Pavilion on (01700) 504250.
