Survey on Rothesay Library’s opening hours

Library users are being asked to complete a council survey to see if opening hours are meeting the public's needs.
Library users are being asked to complete a council survey to see if opening hours are meeting the public's needs.

A survey is being carried out by Argyll and Bute Council inviting people to have their say on library opening hours.

The council is keen to get feedback from members of the public on how opening times could be improved to meet their needs better.

It is therefore important that existing library users, lapsed library users and non-library users give their views so that everyone has a chance to have their say.

The survey will run until 5pm on Friday, July 1, and can be accessed by visiting the council’s website. Hard copies of the survey are also available from Rothesay Library or by calling 01369 708 664.

The council’s policy lead for Community and Culture, Councillor Robin Currie, said: “I would encourage everyone to not only complete the questionnaire themselves but also to tell their friends, neighbours and colleagues.

“Each community is different and it is therefore vital that we hear from every area.”
