As it’s National Carers Week (June 6-12), did you know there’s a local charity which offers help and support for people who have caring responsibilities in Cowal and Bute?

Crossroads Caring for Carers provides respite, outreach services, and help and support for any person in the area who does unpaid care work.

According to CarersWeek.org, three out of four carers feel their caring role is not understood or valued by their community. This is where Crossroads comes in. Their staff, based in Dunoon but frequent visitors to Bute, are happy to speak to anyone interested in finding out what support they might be entitled to.
