Argyll and Bute Youth Forum has a bumper programme of summer activities planned for the young people of Bute.

The programme - known as G.I.V.E. (Get Inspired through Volunteering and Engagement) - will give young people aged 11-19 the chance to take part in fun activities following completion of community-based projects on the island.

In exchange for volunteering at Kilchattan Bay’s Community Orchard and at various other island projects, youngsters will be able to take part in film-making workshops, a visit to Roller Stop and Ryze, a ‘Big Day Out’ at Atlantis Leisure, and much more.

A £5 deposit is required for all off-island trips with the exception of the ‘Big Day Out’. You can find out more and sign up online by clicking here, and interested parties should call in to the community learning office behind the Moat Centre to complete consent forms and to pay deposits on Wednesday, June 29, from 6-7pm.
