Summer holiday ‘what’s on’ guide for Bute

Six Bute organisations have joined forces to produce a handy leaflet showing what’s on for the island’s young people during the forthcoming summer holidays.

The leaflet, being handed out to all Bute’s primary school pupils this week, gives details of summer events being run by Achievement Bute, Active Schools, the Ballochgoy Family Project, Bute Forest, Bute Youth Services and Rothesay Leisure Pool.

Activities include a Big Dens and Bushcraft Week at Mount Stuart, an outdoor week at Bute’s community forest, a Wizard Week at Rothesay Joint Campus and trips off the island to Hampden Park, Heads of Ayr Farm Park and the Burrell Collection to name a few.
