Rothesay Academy’s youth worker has been invited to Buckingham Palace in recognition of her work with the Prince’s Trust.

Ailsa Cassidy recently received an invitation to attend a garden party hosted by the Trust’s president, the Duke of Rothesay, on May 17 in Buckingham Palace, celebrating all that the Trust does in supporting young people reach their potential.

As was reported in November, Ailsa led her S3 XL class to victory in the Prince’s Trust and Samsung Awards, and in 2013, under Ailsa’s direction, Academy pupil Michael Mitchell was chosen as The Prince’s Trust Young Ambassador for Scotland.
