Rothesay’s annual service of remembrance will take place on Sunday, November 13, at 11am at the town’s Cenotaph.

The parade to the memorial will include the Army Cadets Corps, Red Cross, members of the Fire Brigade and others, led by Rothesay and District Pipe Band.

The signal gun will mark the start of a two-minute silence at 11am, which will be followed by the playing of the Last Post.

Following the laying of wreaths on behalf of various island organisations, both uniformed and otherwise, a short service will be conducted by Rev Owain Jones.
