Rothesay golfer in charity challenge

A member of Rothesay Golf Club will be taking on a massive challenge in aid of Macmillan Cancer Trust – playing four rounds of golf in one day!

Kenneth Dickson is a long-time member of the Rothesay Club and travels over to the island on a regular basis to play the course. He and three of his colleagues - Jim Holmes, Brian Henderson and Alan King – decided to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Trust and, being keen golfers, decided to up the ante by playing four rounds in one day at two golf clubs, namely Kirkhill Golf Club and East Kilbride Golf Club.

Starting at 5.30am on Friday, June 21, the boys expect they will finish at around 10.30pm, with Kenneth adding ‘Subject to having enough golf balls!’
