Rothesay couple open up ‘The Red Nose Diaries’

Amid the chaos of present-buying, party-going and decoration-hanging, local couple Alison and Ed Clark provided an oasis of calm this week at a festive story-telling session at Rothesay Library.

‘The Red Nose Diaries’ - nothing to do with Comic Relief, just a nod towards the affliction most of us suffer at some point each winter - slowed the pre-Christmas pace right down with a selection of tales guaranteed to raise a smile and warm the heart on a cold December night.

The event was Alison’s first stab at a solo story-telling session since she was admitted to the Scottish Storytellers’ Directory earlier this year, and followed the publication of her impressions of Bute in ‘My Favourite Place’, an anthology released in November to mark the first ever Scottish Book Week.
