The Rotary Club of Rothesay recently celebrated 66 years of ‘Service Above Self’.

The usual weekly meeting on Thursday, September 1 at Kingarth Hotel was transformed into a special occasion when club members and guests were regally entertained by vocalist Fiona Shaw, accompanied by the gifted Tony Spencer on piano.

Fiona sang a number of very popular songs from well-known musicals including ‘You'll Never Walk Alone’ and ‘I Could Have Danced All Night’.

She was in excellent voice and received a well deserved standing ovation.

A delicious celebratory cake was provided by Margaret, wife of Vice President Billy Shields.
