‘Remembering with Hope’

Local choir, Island Voices, performed Faure’s Requiem at St Andrew’s Church on Sunday, November 4, and were very well received by all who attended.

‘Remembering with Hope’ was an opportunity for people to come together and remember loved ones who’ve died, to light a candle in their memory, and for peaceful reflection.

The choir’s performance of the requiem was stunning, with solos from Malcolm Alexander and Fiona Shaw, as well as a Mozart solo on clarinet by Tony Spencer, accompanied on piano by Fr Michael Hutson.
