Bute Community Council’s first meeting of 2016 takes place tonight (Wednesday, January 20) at 7pm in the United Church of Bute’s church centre in Rothesay’s High Street.

Among the agenda items is a presentation by Ross McLaughlin, from Argyll and Bute Council’s development and infrastructure services department, on a change in planning policy on the replacement of traditional timber-framed windows in Rothesay’s conservation area.

Members of the public are, as always, able to attend the meeting and to ask questions of their local Argyll and Bute councillors and of Police Scotland.

If you can’t attend the meeting, we’ll have our usual comprehensive coverage on this site and in the January 29 issue of The Buteman.
