Railway line shut

THE railway line between Wemyss Bay and Glasgow will once again be completely closed this Sunday, February 27, for essential engineering work between Langbank and Bishopton.

Replacement buses will leave Wemyss Bay and Glasgow Central at 50 minutes past each hour, calling in both directions at Paisley Gilmour Street, Bishopton, Port Glasgow and all other stations.

The Wemyss Bay-Glasgow journey time will be increased by an hour as a result - the bus to meet the last ferry to Rothesay leaves Glasgow at 5.50pm.

The engineering work is not scheduled to affect services on any other day except Sunday.
