Pupils from North Bute Primary, along with teacher Mrs Cameron, spent a morning in Bute Museum recently carrying out their annual task in making up the museum’s quiz for children every year.

The children worked in pairs before getting together with Curator Anne Speirs to decide as a group on a varied range of questions for the final quiz. On returning to the classroom in the afternoon they created the finished quiz on the computer.

It’s great that the pupils do this every year as it means that local children and regular visitors to the island always have a new quiz to try. The brand new quiz will be available in the museum later this month.

Admission to the museum is free for children when accompanied by a paying adult.
