Pupils, teachers and parents at North Bute Primary School held a tea club on Monday afternoon, to raise funds for Children’s Hospice Association Scotland - the charity which provides hospice services for children and young people with life-shortening illnesses.

With delicious home-baking and warming cups of tea and coffee, those who attended were treated to special performances by the children of P1/2. The day itself raised a wonderful £145.85!

Today (March 7), pupils took part in a dress-down day at the school, in return for a small donation, to raise further funds for the charity which has supported several children on the island.
