North Bute Primary School in Port Bannatyne held its annual bring and buy sale to raise funds for the school and the RNLI recently.

Pupils Jamie and Tean write: “To advertise this event primary 6/7 made posters, wrote invitations and spoke about our event on the local radio.

“The stalls were farrle, RNLI souvenirs, toys, books, DVDs, nearly new, bric-a-brac, loom bands, tattoos, face painting and nail painting.

“Thank you to everyone who donated and supported our school. It was a great success.”
