Pupils from North Bute Primary School in Port Bannatyne were delighted to welcome two very special guests to their classroom on Thursday, September 29.

Samantha Embury, representing the Bute Charitable Trust (BCT), and her sister Georgia Fenwick, visited the school to see pupils using a full class set of iPads which were purchased following a donation from the BCT.

The new iPads are already having a huge impact on the pupils' learning in ICT and across other areas of the curriculum. P5/6/7 recently undertook a workshop with Gary Clark from Argyll and Bute's technology department.

The children are now brimming with ideas of how to further develop their ICT skills - including fundraising for drones controlled by the iPads. Watch this space!

The pupils and staff of North Bute Primary would like to say a huge thank you to all at Bute Charitable Trust for the very generous donation which enabled them to purchase the iPads
