Memories of India in Bute writer’s first book

THE magic of India is captured in all its glory in the newly-published first book by Rothesay writer Jenny Campbell.

Jenny, a member of the Bute Writers Group, spent four-and-a-half years living in New Delhi, where her late husband Jim was the senior general practitioner at the British embassy in the city.

Jenny’s Indian experience realised a lifelong dream, born out of her grandmother’s stories of the magical sub-continent, and throughout ‘Letters from New Delhi’, Jenny’s enduring fondness for the country shines through.

* Jenny will be signing copies of ‘Letters from New Delhi’ at Print Point in West Princes Street this Saturday, March 2, from 10.30am to 12 noon.

* More detail on ‘Letters from New Delhi’ in the new issue of The Buteman - on sale now.
