Following on from a similar incident last week, a 33-year-old man was arrested for causing a disturbance on a Rothesay-bound ferry on Thursday evening.

Police arrested the man from on board MV Argyle at Rothesay Pier at 7.55pm after it is alleged he behaved in a disorderly manner, causing fear and alarm to passengers and crew.

This latest incident follows on from a disturbance on board a ferry calling at Rothesay on Saturday, May 14, where a 41-year-old man was arrested after refusing to leave the vessel and for assaulting two police officers.
