Bute Advice Centre in Rothesay has secured a £9,838 award from the Big Lottery’s Communities and Family Fund.
The funding will equip parents with the skills to prepare appealing, inexpensive, and nutritious meals for their children through six week training blocks.
The Communities and Families Fund is a programme running with £4.5 million from The Scottish Government and £1.5 million from the Big Lottery Fund.
This fund is focused on improving early learning, health and wellbeing for children under eight years old by supporting them, their families and communities.
Argyll and Bute MSP Michael Russell said: “I am delighted that the Bute Advice Centre has been awarded £9,838.
“The centre provides an invaluable number of services for communities and families on Bute and this funding will help to build on the great work they already do.”
