A young musician has pleaded guilty to committing sex offences on a girl in Rothesay over a four-year period.

Eighteen-year-old Robin Brandon-Turner, who now lives in Dunoon, committed the offences between 2009 and 2013, when he was aged between 13 and 17 and the girl was aged between six and ten.

At the High Court in Glasgow, sentence on Brandon-Turner was deferred for background reports.

Defence QC Donald McLeod told the court his client regretted what he had done and was ashamed of his behaviour.
