Superheroes fly in to Rothesay
Costume-fitting at Achievement Bute's Superheroes day, run in conjunction with the Hopscotch Theatre Company at Rothesay Pavilion.
Comic book fantasies took a step closer to reality in Rothesay on Saturday courtesy of a ‘Superheroes’ event organised by local charity Achievement Bute.
Run in conjunction with the Hopscotch Theatre Company, the fun afternoon at the Pavilion combined drama workshops with costume-making sessions, producing a huge variety of local heroes - from Batman and Catwoman to Lovegirl and even Cooking Man!
The drama sessions provided plenty of opportunities for those involved to use up excess energy, while also teaching those involved that to be a superhero doesn’t just mean dressing up in a colourful costume - being a good friend or a good citizen is just as important.
