Rothesay Police have unearthed a substantial quantity of cannabis plants at a property in Port Bannatyne.

The cultivation - which our photo shows only part of - was found after a warrant was executed by island officers on Thursday, February 13, and has an estimated street value of somewhere in the region of £30,000.

Two people have been arrested as a result of the operation, and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
