Rothesay man gets payback order for drug possession
A ROTHESAY man who pleaded guilty to being in possession of a Class A drug was given an 18-month community payback order when he appeared at the town’s sheriff court on MOnday.
Anthony McArthur (41), address given as Flat 0/2, 14 Russell Street, Rothesay, was found to be in possession of a quantity of Diamorphine during a search at Rothesay Police office on May 16.
McArthur’s solicitor told the court his client had had a difficult background and has previously served sentences for drug offences.
