Staff at Nadia's Hair and Beauty chose the Mad Hatter's Tea Party from Alice in Wonderland for their Christmas Eve fancy dress theme.

Staff at Nadia’s Hair and Beauty chose the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party from Alice in Wonderland as the theme for their annual ‘dressing up day’ in aid of the Yorkhill Children’s Foundation Trust on Christmas Eve.

Owner Kate Thornton and staff members Charlette McLachlan, Shonagh McCrae and Ryan Shearer have a tradition of donning fancy dress every December 24, having originally chosen to dress up to help Rothesay girl Brianne Roberts, who was suffering from leukaemia at the same time.

Happily, Brianne has now been in remission for five years, but the enthusiasm of the staff for their fancy dress day shows no sign of going away - even if Ryan had to make his own ears after a last-minute hiccup on the part of his costumier!
