Staff at Rothesay’s Webhelp TSC contact centre raised £500 for the Children’s Hospice Association Scotland at a fund-raising day on Thursday.

Employees at the Barone Road site brought a pound to work in support of a national CHAS appeal, and also flocked to a baking stall and raffle set up to raise more cash for the charity.

Thursday’s events were organised in support of Rothesay resident and Webhelp TSC employee Lia McLeod, whose baby son Flynn suffers from Ohtahara syndrome - an acute form of infant epilepsy.

Lia and her husband Jason have been told Flynn will be lucky to see his first birthday, and they, and Flynn’s big brother Anakin, have received support from CHAS in many forms since Flynn’s illness was diagnosed just ten days after his birth.
