The leader of Argyll and Bute Council will answer questions on the authority’s budget and services in an on-line conversation this week.
Members of the public are welcome to submit questions to Councillor Dick Walsh in advance, or to join the conversation at 7pm on Thursday, January 16.
The web chat is part of the council’s on-going communication and consultation exercise.
“The next two years will be relatively stable in terms of our financial planning,” Councillor Walsh said.
“However we anticipate significantly reduce funding from 2016 onwards. I am keen to hear any views, questions or concerns that people have about our budget and services, in the short and longer term.”
For information on how to submit questions in advance or participate, please visit the council’s website at www.argyll-bute.gov.uk/budget
The consultation exercise is based on response methods that have proven most useful to local people in the past, and includes an on-line survey, which is available until January 24 - click here to respond to the survey.
