Police in Rothesay have issued an appeal for information from the public after a number of chainsaws were stolen from a garden shed in the town.

The items were stolen from the property in Craigmore Road between 12 noon on February 23 and 12 noon on March 8.

Any member of the public with information which could lead to the items being recovered or the person responsible being traced can call Police Scotland on 101 and ask for Constable Strathern at Rothesay police office.
