The theft took place shortly before midnight on Thursday, March 27. Anyone who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the Kingarth area around that time can call 101 - the new Police Scotland non-emergency contact number - and ask to be connected to Rothesay police office, or can call in person at the station in Rothesay’s High Street.
