Police issue warning over cold weather conditions

Local police inspector Gordon Anderson has advised road users to drive according to the conditions following the recent cold weather.

“Roads are icy and several road accidents have occurred on the island,” he said. “Also, a reminder to the local farming community to remove any mud which has been left on the road from tractors etc., which may cause danger or substantial inconvenience to road users.”
