The pupils of North Bute Primary School showed their family and friends what they love about their home country in an assembly on Friday afternoon.

The children sang songs including ‘Loch Lomond’ and ‘Bonnie Wee Jeanie McColl’, and recited poetry written by the pupils.

Some of the young dancers in the school also took to the floor to demonstrate their Highland dancing skills, and others showed off their thespian abilities by performing in some very funny skits.
