New faces for Bute Community Council

Two new faces will join the ranks of Bute Community Council at an uncontested by-election later this month.

Only two valid nominations were received for the six vacant seats on BCC - for Iain Donald of Rowanlea, Minister’s Brae, Rothesay, and Nicola Jones, of Flat 3/2, 63b Castle Street, Port Bannatyne.

Although there is a BCC meeting on Wednesday, September 19, the two new members will not be officially elected until 11am on Thursday, September 27.
