Missing Dunoon boy is found safe and well

A 12-year-old boy reported missing from his home in Dunoon on Sunday evening has been found safe and well.

James Gilmour (12), a first year pupil at Dunoon Grammar School, was last seen at his home address in the town’s Victoria Road at around 8pm on Sunday.

An appeal for information was issued on Monday afternoon, but a statement on Strathclyde Police’s Twitter account just before 4.30pm announced that James, who had gone missing for a short time on one previous occasion, had been found safe and well.
