North Bute Primary School welcomed a very special guest - and friend - to their school assembly this week.

Lynsey Feeney ran half a marathon in Glasgow to raise funds for the school, and was delighted to hand over a cheque for £550 to headteacher Elizabeth McMillan.

The money will go towards the purchase of PE equipment and for facilities in the playground.
