Keep your pets happy this Bonfire Night
Bonfire night is fast approaching and although it can be a wonderful time for families, it can be terrifying for your pets.
The constant bangs and bright flashes can make animals extremely stressed, and can result in worrying and unwanted behaviour.
To try and keep your furry friends healthy and happy at this time of year, there are a few tricks you can try to soothe them.
1.Play music with a strong bass-line to try and cover the explosions overhead.
2.Close all windows, shut your curtains and reassure your pet.
3.Build a den or hidey-hole where they can retreat to if it all gets too much for them.
4.Keep your pets occupied with toys and treats.
5.If all else fails, visit your vet who may be able to prescribe something to ease the stress.
