Former teacher’s Tale of Two Cities

We recently reported that former Rothesay Academy teacher Gerry Kelley would be undertaking a sponsored cycle from Glasgow to Edinburgh in aid of Calum’s Cabin, as part of the Fresh ‘n’ Lo Pedal for Scotland challenge.

Gerry said: “Thanks to all who donated to Calum’s cabin. To all you doubters who thought this ‘Gerryatric’ would never do it here is photographic evidence that I completed the cycle on Sunday along with my fellow West Kilbride ‘Gerryatrics’ Colin, George and Walter - we are now starting our own cycle club under the name ‘The Seamill Cyclepaths’.”

So far, Gerry has raised £610 for Calum’s Cabin, but if you’d like to contribute to this great cause. there’s still time to donate - just visit the link to the right of this article.
