Emergency scenario provides vital training on Bute

A hurricane has hit Bute. The island has been without power for six days, the temperature has dropped to minus four degrees Centigrade, and an emergency reception centre has been set up at Rothesay Pavilion, where a party of more than 20 schoolchildren has gone to make use of back-up power, hot food and overnight sleeping facilities.
