A FORMER Port Bannatyne resident was warned at Rothesay Sheriff Court that he faces a future in prison unless he can persuade the court he has mended his way.
Kurt Hulme (19), whose address was given as c/o McKelvie, 284 Paisley Road West, Glasgow, appeared in court on Monday to admit breaching the conditions of two community payback orders.
The court heard the orders were the result of a string of offences, including violent behaviour towards two girlfriends and to his sister, motoring charges and vandalising his step-father’s car.
Sheriff Mhairi McTaggart imposed a fine of £360 and set a date of March 11 for the production of an up-to-date criminal justice social work report.
“You will need to convince the social workers, myself or another sheriff, that you’ve turned a corner,” Sheriff McTaggart added.
“If not, you’re going to prison.”
