Christmas charity collection on Bute’s buses

The annual charity collection on Bute’s bus services is now well under way.

Collecting buckets have been placed on West Coast Motors’ fleet of buses on the island, with the proceeds to be split between local playgroups.

Some passengers have even been lucky enough to see their regular driver replaced by Santa Claus - although rumours that the man in the red suit is considering hiring a West Coast Motors vehicle, just in case his sleigh breaks down or his reindeer are struck ill before his big Christmas delivery, are as yet unconfirmed...

The charity appeal runs until Christmas Eve - and contributions from passers-by as well as from passengers on board are welcome!
